Privacy Policy

Last Updated: February 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Satlis ("Satlis", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use our websites, products, and services (collectively, the "Services").

This policy does not cover third-party websites, applications, or services that you access through links in the Services.

1. Scope and Roles

Satlis is typically the controller of personal information collected for operating the Services (for example, account administration, security, and billing). In some cases, Satlis may process information on behalf of a business customer (for example, when an organization administers access for its users). Where applicable, the customer is the controller and Satlis is the processor.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in three main ways: (a) information you provide, (b) information collected automatically, and (c) information from third parties.

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account information (for example, name, email address, authentication credentials).
  • Billing and transaction information (for example, billing contact details and subscription status). Payment card data is typically handled by our payment processors, not stored directly by Satlis.
  • Support and communications (for example, support requests, emails, and feedback).
  • Customer content you submit to the Services (for example, workflows, configurations, product inputs, keyword lists, and visual assets processed through Visual Lab).

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device and usage data (for example, IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, and actions taken).
  • Log and diagnostic data (for example, access times, error reports, performance metrics).
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).

2.3 Information From Third Parties

  • Service providers supporting the Services (for example, analytics, hosting, and customer support systems).
  • Business customers if they provide your account information to provision access.

2.4 Sensitive Information

Please do not submit sensitive personal information to the Services (for example, government identifiers, health information, or precise location data) unless explicitly requested by a feature and necessary for your intended use.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide the Services (for example, create accounts, deliver features, process requests, and enable collaboration).
  • Operate and secure the Services (for example, monitor for abuse, prevent fraud, and troubleshoot).
  • Improve the Services (for example, analyze usage patterns, measure performance, and develop new features).
  • Communicate (for example, send service updates, security notices, and respond to support requests).
  • Handle billing and administration (for example, manage subscriptions and invoices).
  • Market the Services (where permitted by law and your settings, for example, product updates and offers).
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. Legal Bases (EEA/UK)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process personal information under one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Contract: to provide the Services you request.
  • Legitimate interests: to operate, secure, and improve the Services (balanced against your rights).
  • Consent: for certain marketing and cookie/analytics activities where required.
  • Legal obligations: to comply with applicable laws.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share personal information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf (for example, hosting, analytics, customer support, and payment processing).
  • Professional advisors (for example, legal, accounting) where necessary.
  • Corporate transactions (for example, merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets), subject to appropriate protections.
  • Legal and safety (for example, to comply with lawful requests or to protect rights, safety, and security).
  • With your directions (for example, when you connect third-party tools or request exports).

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions (such as authentication and preferences) and to understand how the Services are used. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. If you disable certain cookies, some features may not function properly.

7. Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No security measure can guarantee 100% protection, and you use the Services at your own risk.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the purpose of processing.

9. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you reside. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object or request portability. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To submit a request, contact us using the information in Section 13.

11. California Privacy Notice

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended), including the right to know, delete, and correct certain personal information, and the right to opt out of certain data sharing considered "sale" or "sharing" under California law. Satlis does not sell personal information.

12. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and may provide additional notice as required by law.
