What is Top-Position Share?

Top-Position Share measures how many top organic positions your ASINs occupy for a keyword. More top positions = stronger visibility and more stable ranking.

  • Measures actual organic search result positions (excludes sponsored)
  • Analyzes Top 3, Top 8, Top 16, and Total 48 position share
  • Evaluates ranking strength from organic position share

How is it Calculated?

Top-position share is calculated based on the number of organic positions (excluding sponsored ads) your ASINs occupy:

Top-Position Share Formula
Top-Position Share = (Organic positions occupied by your ASINs ÷ Total organic positions) × 100%
Example: If there are 48 organic positions on page one and your ASINs occupy 24 of them, top-position share is 50%.
