Keyword Refiner is where you run Relevance + Ranking validations at scale across Amazon search (often hundreds of thousands to millions of storefront checks) to filter out noise and keep only Actionable Keywords. Actionable Keywords are keywords that (1) Amazon indexes you for, and (2) show Page 1 Organic Opportunities you can realistically capture (Page 1 is not dominated by strong organic listings)—so they can drive meaningful traffic and conversions. Import from Keyword Miner (required), optionally merge ABA and Helium 10, then run the two tests in separate tabs before generating outputs.
How to Use
Follow these steps in order (tests must run in separate tabs):
Create Keyword Library
Enter library name, category, marketplace, and optional parent library for hierarchical organization.
Import Keywords
Import from Keyword Miner (required). Optionally add ABA and Helium 10 keywords to expand coverage.
Run Relevance Test (New Tab)
Validate whether Amazon indexes your ASIN for each keyword (the organic exposure gate). Keep the Relevance tab open while it runs.
Run Ranking Test (New Tab)
Measure Page 1 share and Page 1 Organic Opportunities to find keywords where you have a realistic chance to rank. Keep the Ranking tab open while it runs.
Generate Outputs (After Both Tests)
Generate Actionable Keywords (this prunes your library), then generate Cold-Start Ad Keywords (unlocks after Actionable Keywords).
